Amber

Amber is not a stone at all; it is resin that waited forty million years to harden, which the Egyptians understood well enough to burn it as an offering rather than cut it as a gem.

The fragrance keeps that warmth literal. Blood orange and cinnamon open it, red amber and immortelle hold the centre, cedarwood and tonka close it. It reads warmer on skin than it does on paper, which is why the atelier asks you to wear it for an hour before deciding.
