Crimson Sun

The sun the Egyptians carved above a king's head is never yellow in the surviving pigment; it is red, the colour of the disc at the moment it touches the horizon and the day is decided.

Crimson Sun is that colour worn. Saffron and cardamom open it with heat rather than brightness; a gold accord and jasmine sambac hold the centre; amber resin, sandalwood, and tonka carry it into the evening. Formal, and unmistakably an evening fragrance.
