يستمد كيم اسمه من «كيميت» — الاسم المصري القديم لمصر ذاتها، ومعناه «الأرض السوداء» — إشارةً إلى التربة الداكنة الخصبة التي يخلّفها فيضان النيل السنوي. وبهذه الروح، نزرع شيئًا استثنائيًا في أخصب تربة ثقافية عرفها تاريخ البشرية.
الفلسفة
لم تستخدم مصر القديمة العطر زينةً فحسب. كان العطر منسوجًا في نسيج الممارسة الروحية والتطبيب والطقوس والهوية. كانت المعابد تحرق الكيفي عند الغروب، ويُدهن الموتى بالزيوت الثمينة. كان العطر لغة الألوهية.
في كيم نقارب هذا الإرث بتقدير. ندرس التركيبات القديمة، ونعمل مع علماء المصريات، ونستقدم مكوّناتنا من المناطق ذاتها التي كانت تمدّ صنّاع العطور القدماء، ونطبّق تقنيات العطور الحديثة لنصنع شيئًا يكرّم الماضي دون أن يظل أسيرًا له.
كل هيروغليفي كان دعاءً. كل طقس كان قصيدة. كل عطر كان جسرًا بين الإنساني والإلهي.

We work only with the finest master perfumers from Grasse, Cairo, and Dubai. Every formula undergoes years of refinement before we consider it worthy of a KHEM bottle.
Our ingredients are sourced through fair-trade partnerships. Our packaging uses recycled materials. We plant a tree for every bottle sold through our Egyptian reforestation program.
