Carnelian Ember

Carnelian was worn against the body — set into pectorals, cut into amulets, laid over the heart of the dead. It is a stone that reads as warm even in shade, which is why it was trusted next to skin.

Carnelian Ember behaves the same way. Pink pepper and blood orange flare at the opening; cinnamon and immortelle give the heart a dry, resinous sweetness; red amber and cedarwood hold the base close rather than projecting it. It smells less like a fragrance worn than like a temperature.
