Lapis Éternel

Lapis lazuli travelled two thousand miles from the mountains of Badakhshan before it reached the workshops of Thebes, where it was ground into the blue of Tutankhamun's mask. Lapis Éternel follows that route in reverse — a cold mineral iris that warms, slowly, into ambergris held against the skin.
